Coilthread Part Number Selection
All Tangless inserts have the same part number as the Tanged type but with the prefix '2'
Examples:
M5 x 0.8, free running, 1 diameter length The part number is:
2TNM5 x 0.8C - 5
4-40 locking insert, 1.5dia length the part number is:
2TLC - 04C - 0168
Range available
Metric
M2.5 through M12 in 1, 1.5 and 2 dia.
Unified
2-56 through 3/8 - 16 in 1, 1.5 and 2 dia.
For strip feed inserts add the suffix 'SF'.
For Silver Plated inserts add the suffix 'S'.
For Dry Film Lubed inserts add the suffix 'W'.
For Cadmium Plated inserts add the suffix 'Y'.
